A New Look: I am learning

Okay, changed the blog template, fooling with fonts, sizes, pictures, etc.  Here are pictures that I have been promising to send folks. 

First off, Spencer, here is a picture of two of the gophers that Sid caught.  (I know that these will delight all blog readers.)

And Gayle, here is a picture of Megan and Joe's Christmas tree with Megan and Joe.

Hey, I think I am doing pretty darned well!  Gayle, if you click on the picture, you should get an expanded view so as to see the vintage cloth that you gave Meg to use as bows.

First Post!

So here I go, the first post on the Old Moore's Valley blog.  Not sure what will go here, but I will create it as I go.  So welcome to anyone who found there way here.  However, if this is not where you want to be, well then, go somewhere else!  Time is too short to read some stranger's boring blog.

Lazy day here at the farm.  Dogs are curled up by the fire.  Sid is working at his computer.  I have been making scarves out of old cashmere sweaters, sewing buttons on shirts, and general cleaning stuff.

A somewhat boring first post, but at least a start.
